Today we took the girls to their first ever baseball game - started small scale - The Kane County Cougars. Kenzie took part in the reading program and completed so many hours of reading and we received free tickets to the game. They had all sorts of fun kid-friendly things such as a guy making balloon animals/items and facepainting, games, coloring, you name it. In fact, while Pete was in the stands, I had the girls in line to get balloons. We missed the opening pitch and made it to our seats at the beginning of inning 2. Shortly after sitting down, Allie decided she wanted to go back to have her face painted....After consuming a tasting of all items the concession stands sold (pizza, pretzel, fries, popcorn.....and yes, what daddy's little girls want, daddy's little girls get)..the girls decided they wanted to leave. I can honestly say I didn't watch one ounce of the game. But it was fun, and that is all that matters!
Go Cougars!
